According to the latest news coming out of Iran, there was a powerful explosion at a coal mine in the Iranian city of Tabas. It was so powerful that reports are saying that no less than 30 people were killed and no less than 17 were according to Iranian state television .
The mine where this major explosion took place was located some 540 kilometers from Tehran. Rescue services have already dispatched rescue teams to the area to look for and/or save any possible survivors.
According Iranian news reports, The explosion was so powerful that part of the mine collapsed, making it difficult for rescuers to find any survivors.
Hopefully more light will be shed on this tragic incident.
Ghana is interested in purchasing a floating nuclear power plant from Russia, Ghanaian Ambassador to Russian Koma Steem Jehu-Appiah told Sputnik.
